It is owned and operated by Neil Hallsworth, a Service Veteran and active member of the Military Community
It’s Explorer Coffee’s aim to give you the customer a wide choice of high quality coffee, great and practical coffee accessories and those bits and pieces you need as you embark on your adventures.
About Neil
Neil served in the Royal Army Medical Corps for ten years. Having completed his commission he worked in the hospitality business, built a house, taught in Further Education and was a First Aid Trainer. This ended in 2008 when he took the decision to stay at home and raise the family whilst his wife pursued her successful military career.
Explorer Coffees began following a brief introduction to the Coffee Industry through a part time job. Roasting coffee at home allowed Neil to maintain household duties and grow a small business from scratch, growing now to include Tea and Hot Chocolate.
In 2020 Neil added EC Clothing and The Expedition & Campaign Stores to the portfolio and has continued to develop these offerings, through COVID and to the present day.
Neil is currently working to extend current facilities at Creek HQ and is developing a social aspect to the Explorer Universe.
